Club History

East Cowes Victoria Ladies were formed in August 2018 to offer women the opportunity to play football in a safe and enjoyable environment, with fully qualified coaches who have a committed attitude with a view to continue to grow the ladies game, from youth football to the adult game and give ladies the chance to play on some of the best football facilities on the Isle of Wight.

Our first season see us compete in the Hampshire women’s league division 2. Kicking off only five weeks after forming, finishing a respectable 10th , 8th if we would have been awarded points owed to us, however this was seen as a massive achievement for a team only seen as a pipe dream through the summer.

During the season we created sister club partnerships with WSL team Reading fc and also Madrid based la meca de Rivas fc. A feet never achieved previously by any island team.

Due to a league restructure the teams 2nd season will see us compete in the Hampshire womens division 3
